We are working with a growing, customer-focused supplier of construction materials, supporting the ever-demanding infrastructure and building industries. We are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead their warehouse operation, maintain exceptional standards, and drive operational excellence every day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Full operational management of the warehouse, including goods-in, inventory, pick/pack, and transport functions
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team, including supervisors across key operational areas
  • Overseeing daily workflow to ensure flawless organisation and order accuracy
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service
  • Maintaining the highest health and safety standards across all warehouse activities
  • Collaborating with supply chain and transport teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Preparing the warehouse for future growth, including supporting new system implementation
  • Managing absence, holidays, and team performance

  • Proven experience in warehouse management within the construction materials, building supplies, or similar fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on leadership style - visible, approachable, and not afraid to get involved in the day-to-day
  • Strong knowledge of inventory and stock control processes
  • Confidence overseeing transport, goods-in, and pick/pack operations
  • Excellent organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to run operations efficiently within budget
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is desirable
