Our client is looking for a pro-active, dynamic and hands-on Warehouse Manager to be a part of their ambitious growth plans. You will be joining a great team which is looking to future-proof their business through an exciting period of transformation. With a focus on managing day-to-day warehouse operations, you will manage a small team and be responsible for ensuring day-to-day orders are achieved. The role is Monday to Friday typical day shift hours, with some flexibility required.
What does the role entail?
- Management of Goods in and Goods Out
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
- Reprocessing of goods to meet customers' needs or to recycle returned products
- Ensuring orders meet delivery schedules in both quantity and quality
- Keep the warehouse organised and compliant with Health and Safety standards
- Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff
- Maintain clear communication with production departments and the operations manager
- Hands-on experience with occasional FLT driving
- Inventory management, ensuring stock accuracy and integrity
- Communicating across different departments - Production, Transport, etc.
