We are thrilled to be working with a leading logistics provider within the medical sector, offering reliable and efficient transport solutions to ensure vital medical supplies reach their destination on time, every time. We are looking for a dedicated Transport Supervisor to join our team and provide key support to the Transport Manager during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driver Liaison: Communicate with drivers via phone and WhatsApp to ensure smooth operations, manage bookings, and confirm driver attendance.
- Monitoring Movements: Keep track of driver movements and locations in relation to customer deliveries, ensuring timely service.
- Customer Communication: Provide regular updates to customers on delivery status and ensure any issues are promptly addressed.
- Logistics Administration: Log departure and arrival times, calculate mileage, and track fuel usage for all vehicles.
- Route Planning: Assist with planning and optimizing routes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Driver Coordination: Liaise with agency drivers and sub-contractors to ensure sufficient staffing and smooth transport operations.
- General Admin: Carry out various administrative tasks to support the transport office and maintain accurate records.
