Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with teams across the business to provide systems support, maintain data integrity and deliver analysis that helps drive profitability.
This role would suit a graduate or someone studying towards AAT who is looking to develop their career within a Commercial Finance team.
- Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Support financial and commercial assessments for tenders, renewals, and retentions, including innovative solutions, pricing structure reviews, and written responses for all commercial elements of bids.
- Enhance internal data and reporting to improve accuracy, efficiency, and presentation of customer-specific reports.
- Provide commercial insights and performance analysis, identifying trends, investigating margin exceptions (high, low, or negative), and exploring margin improvement opportunities.
- Act as a point of contact for contractual reviews, ensuring contract changes are implemented, documented, and communicated while supporting Sales and Purchasing Managers on assigned contracts.
Assist the sales team with new contract mobilisations.
- Ensure accurate reporting of customer contract commercial aspects, including appropriate provisions and Customer Rebate management.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and data entry for the annual Supplier Repricing exercise, ensuring timely implementation of all updates.
- Support the planning, calculation, and data entry for the bi-annual Customer Repricing exercise, ensuring all pricing changes are implemented promptly.
- Develop current systems, optimize their use, and create best-practice processes tailored to system workflows.
- Maintain Customer and Supplier pricing files and minimize manual data entry, streamlining processes across the team.
- Prepare monthly Customer KPI reports in line with customer requirements.
