National Account Executive – Catering
£35,000 – £37,000 per annum + Car/Allowance, Bonus
Location: National
We\’re looking for a motivated go-getter who thrives on building relationships, isn\’t afraid to be out on the road, and understands what really goes into running a commercial kitchen.
As a National Account Executive, you\’ll manage and grow a portfolio of key contract catering accounts, uncover new opportunities, and deliver outstanding service to some of the most recognised names in the sector. You\’ll be the link between clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth operations, innovative solutions, and profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Managing and developing a portfolio of national catering accounts
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to grow accounts and secure new business wins
- Supporting tenders, menu development, and key product/category initiatives
- Ensuring excellent service delivery from first contact through to fulfilment
- Producing reports, forecasts, and presentations to track and communicate progress
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management or sales within contract catering, foodservice, or related commercial sectors
- Strong understanding of commercial kitchens and the operational challenges within catering environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
- Proactive, organised, and commercially minded with an eye for detail
- Confident working independently on the road as well as collaboratively with wider teams
- Resilient and adaptable, with a drive to spot and seize opportunities
