Customer Service Administrator
£26,125 per annum with additional shift allowance

Full time - 4 on 4 off - Shift pattern 05:30 - 16:30 and 10:00 - 21:00
Cast UK is supporting a well-established business within the transport and logistics sector in its search for their next Customer Service Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, detail oriented individual with experience in administration, transport or logistics to join a busy operational environment. Working closely with internal teams and directly with clients, you'll play an important role in coordinating information, supporting customer queries.
The successful candidate will be confident communicating via email and over the phone with a range of stakeholders, comfortable working with multiple systems and able to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to planning, resource management and operational teams.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal planning and resource management systems.
- Coordinate communications between internal departments and other stakeholders.
- Collate management information, prepare reports and support the production of operational plans.
- Review and assist with the processing and tracking of purchase orders.
- Investigate discrepancies between products loaded and delivered, ensuring issues are followed through to resolution.
- Respond to telephone, email and other enquiries professionally, ensuring queries and complaints are documented and resolved promptly.
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems accurately.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with resource planning systems, purchase order systems or driver training administration would be desirable.
