Continuous Improvement Project Lead – MRO, Manufacturing and Supply ChainSouth Molton, Devon£32,000 – £36,000 plus excellent benefits

Role Profile

Do you have experience of continuous improvement projects within Manufacturing and Supply Chain? Do you have a track record of delivering operational cost savings within a Manufacturing or Production environment?This is a unique role working indirectly for a high profile Aerospace company with a site in Devon.If you are a proactive, self-starter who can drive through initiatives to deliver cost reductions, this could be the opportunity for you…!

What will the role involve?

  • Establishing excellent working relationships with key stakeholders within Manufacturing, Engineering and Maintenance departments
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in Production, Stores and Warehousing areas
  • Initiating and driving process improvement or cost reduction projects, working with key stakeholders to bring projects to fruition and deliver positive results
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress across your pipeline of projects

Ideal skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a related role, such as Manufacturing Engineer, Continuous Improvement Lead, Junior Project/Programme Manager, Supply Chain or Operations
  • Experience of driving cost reduction and/or process improvement projects within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment
  • Track record of operational savings, inventory optimisation and process improvement
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident negotiation and influencing skills
  • Willingness to work onsite 5 days per week
  • UK Driving Licence and own vehicle (site is located in a beautiful but rural area that is not accessible by public transport!)

Remuneration

  • Salary of £32,000 – £36,000 depending on experience
  • 28 days' holiday PLUS bank holidays
  • Immediate enrolment into highly competitive pension scheme
  • Private Healthcare (BUPA)
