A well-established UK supplier of high-quality trade and security products is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to support continued growth within their busy distribution operation. The business has invested heavily in its infrastructure and is looking for a strong leader to drive efficiency, accuracy and team development.

The Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of the day‑to‑day running of a busy distribution centre. You will lead and develop the warehouse team, ensure safe and efficient operations, and maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity and customer service. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8am‑5pm, with shifts starting an hour apart.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including goods‑in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Lead, train and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring a positive and high performance culture
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with company and legal requirements
• Monitor stock levels, accuracy and inventory control processes
• Work closely with the logistics, purchasing and customer service teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and warehouse layout
• Produce operational reports and ensure KPIs are met
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and security standards

About You

• Proven experience in warehouse or distribution centre management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
• Confident using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practice
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• A practical, proactive and improvement‑focused mindset
