This is a senior role responsible for leading the delivery of a high-quality and commercially focused HR service within a distribution business. You will provide expert guidance and support to senior stakeholders, managers and employees, and act as a trusted business partner, implementing the company's policies and practices. The successful candidate will be working closely with the HR Director to develop HR solutions that enhance objectives and capabilities across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the company is compliant and operating to current UK and European legislation.
- Deliver people agenda whilst supporting the HR Director to align with both divisional and wider organisational priorities.
- Develop and deliver people strategies by partnering with Leadership and Management teams.
- Through effective performance management, leadership development and succession planning, drive a high-performance culture.
- Use people data and insights to influence decision-making and improve organisational effectiveness.
- Support Line Managers with recruitment and formal meetings, including grievance, disciplinary and appeals where necessary.
