A successful 3PL and fulfilment business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to run one of their fast-paced distribution centres in Warwickshire. As Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations whilst ensuring excellent service is delivered to 3PL customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the warehouse operation, ensuring safe, efficient and profitable delivery
  • Take ownership of the site's commercial, operational and financial performance
  • Provide excellent customer service to a multi-user customer base
  • Create clear structure, accountability and consistent operating standards across the warehouse
  • Manage budgets, labour costs, productivity, forecasting, billing accuracy and financial reporting
  • Drive service, efficiency, stock accuracy, fulfilment performance and customer satisfaction
  • Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and act as the key operational contact
  • Lead, develop and hold accountable the warehouse leadership team
  • Ensure robust health and safety, inventory control, compliance and quality standards
  • Plan resource effectively around changing volumes, peak trading periods and customer requirements
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across the site

Skills and Experience

  • The successful candidate will have proven senior leadership experience within a 3PL, fulfilment, ecommerce or distribution centre environment.
  • Experience working across E-Commerce or FMCG-related contracts would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability and willingness to be hands-on with the warehouse where necessary to support the team.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with a proven record managing a 3PL customer base.
  • A track record of delivering change across warehouse performance, including driving efficiency.
  • Credible, polished and confident communication with customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
