Hours of Work: 08:00 β 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 to 13:30 Friday

Role Summary
The Group EHS Manager will be responsible for providing pragmatic compliance advice and support to the Operational teams and other EHS Advisors at the company's UK Sites. The role is site-based and so the ability to positively represent and communicate the EHS ethos of the business is paramount. The role encompasses a wide range of EHS sectors and is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and experience. This role will involve UK travel to all sites across Wrexham and Devon. The employee will willingly undertake, upon request, any other task they are able to perform. Elements of the role may vary as new technology, procedures and equipment are introduced.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive coordination and standardisation across a physically dispersed, multi-site group
- Working within tight restrictions drive forward to achieve outcomes
- Identify, establish and monitor leading Indicators and supporting KPIs
- Provide legally compliant advice to the SMT
- Provide advice and support to Maintenance Coordinators
- Liaise with Insurers, Enforcement Authorities and Suppliers
- Provide support to Operations Managers and locally deployed EHS Coordinators
- Devise and maintain training, audit and inspection plans for all sites across the Group
- Carry out practical work in risk assessment, training and inspection as required
- Complete monthly site visits across the Group
Person Specification
- Self-motivated, reliable, Tenacious and adaptable
- Ability to positively engage with people at all levels
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Confident and enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to identify, interpret and apply statutory guidance, legislation and case law to an operational environment
- Adept in the use of MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Commitment to excellence
Essential Qualifications
- Level 6 H&S Qualification
- NEBOSH Certified
- Level 6 Environmental Management Qualification
- Level 3 Fire Safety Management Qualification
- Level 3 Training Qualification
- Level 3 ISO 14001/45001 Auditing Qualification
- 8 years relevant experience in an Operational Role
- 3 years Line Management experience
- Ability to drive change
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Essential Experience
- Experience working within a Similar Manufacturing and Engineering environment
Desirable Experience
- Direct experience in Foundry Industry
- Practical experience in Energy Management and Carbon Accounting
