We are seeking a Director of Partner Marketing to drive strategic marketing initiatives with our ecosystem of partners. In this senior role, you will develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our business goals and our partners’ objectives to drive mutual success. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to create compelling co-marketing campaigns, manage partner programs, and measure their effectiveness in generating demand and revenue. This is a remote-first position open to candidates based in Europe, reflecting our globally distributed team and customer base.

You’re a great fit for this role if you have led partner marketing at a company in the cloud computing industry; have worked at startups and industry leaders and know what it takes to successfully scale organizations; enjoy working cross-functionally; and think strategically, but aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, get into the weeds, and get stuff done.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Partner Marketing Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive partner marketing plan that aligns with our go-to-market strategy and our partners’ goals, driving joint awareness and lead generation.
  • Co-Marketing Campaigns: Plan and manage co-marketing initiatives with partners - including joint webinars, events, and content marketing.
  • Partner Enablement & Content: Build out partner enablement materials that help partners quickly ramp up and effectively promote our platform.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners. Act as the marketing liaison for partners, understanding their needs and ensuring ongoing alignment with our product updates, value propositions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams – including Sales, Product, Product Marketing, and Customer Success – to integrate partner marketing programs with overall company initiatives.
  • ROI Tracking & Optimization: Track and analyze the performance and ROI of partner marketing activities. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve the effectiveness of co-marketing programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degree preferred).
  • 7–9 years of experience in B2B marketing roles (with a strong focus on partner or alliance marketing), demonstrating success in both high-growth startup environments and larger, scaled organizations.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and a solid grasp of the cloud-native technology ecosystem.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of forging and maintaining positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Excellent project management skills with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring campaigns and programs are delivered to a high standard.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor teams or direct reports, fostering collaboration and high performance to achieve business goals.
  • Must be based in Europe (GMT 0 to GMT +3 time zones) to enable close collaboration with our regional teams and partners.
