CassonX are delighted to have a very long standing relationship with a major insurance company that had its own multi-manager investment firm, and now looking to bring this entity in-house. There is a huge amount of change to be considered with this company, all for the best, creating a truly exciting time to be joining the company in helping shape the investment processes and governance.
To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has proven experience at supporting investment strategies, certainly around manager selection and oversight processes, but also exposure to building or designing internal or external execution processes. Any expertise in shaping relevant processes and governance is clearly highly advantageous (reporting, regulations and galvanising board decisions), especially in an asset allocation and/or multi-manager type of environment, and even more so if you have ever worked in an insurance business and understand this sector. Any further exposure to ensuring robust asset-liability management or optimising FX is highly desirable too. CFA or FIA education, and exposure to performance and risk management systems like Aladdin are key things the hiring manager will look for.
You will support the Head of Investments in formulating and implementing investment strategy. You will be responsible for optimising strategic asset allocation to maximise risk and capital adjusted returns; ensuring robust asset-liability management; day-to-day oversight of third-party managers; preparing reporting for Boards and Committees.
CassonX Limited are committed to providing fair employment opportunities to all applicants. We encourage anyone to apply, regardless of their background, and promote a fair and inclusive recruitment process based on merit. If you require any assistance throughout the interview process to improve your experience, kindly let us know.
