As part of our new Cass Art outlet concept store in Hackney, the Store Manager will work as an integral part of the company retail management team; leading and inspiring the store team to achieve maximum sales and operational excellence through compliance, business acumen and commercial flair. Our outlet store will showcase the best deals, as well as our clearance stock. Key to success in this role will be the ability to maximise sales opportunities, motivate the team to provide excellent customer service and actively lead from the front to drive the teams performance. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): – Proactively monitor sales, developing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and deliver positive results across all key store metrics and KPIs – Effectively manage the P&L controllable cost within the allocated budget set to ensure a profitable performance for the store – Maintain effective communication with Buying and Merchandising to maintain commercial stock levels, overseeing stock control and deliveries – Provide weekly feedback on store performance, opportunity and planned activity – Understand the local market conditions through competitor visits and market analysis, with the purpose of making appropriate and innovative recommendations to drive the business forward – Clearly and concisely communicate the business and store objectives to the team to ensure they are well informed of goals and targets and their required contributions – Ensure your store meets all Health and Safety guidelines and standards and implement and maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards in store – Implement and maintain all policies relating to store security and theft prevention to minimise loss – Ensure all staff adhere to all company standards as set out in the employee handbook and store policies and procedures, taking appropriate action when necessary – Lead by example to develop and promote an effective customer service culture Desired Knowledge Skills & Experience – Retail team management experience within a customer focused environment – Previous experience managing an outlet or discount retailer – Previous experience of dealing with stock deliveries, attractive discount displays and day-to-day operational tasks – Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets set, through inspirational leadership – Commercially savvy with strong business acumen and market awareness – Experience using POS machinery-till points and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – Excellent verbal and written communication and numeracy skills – Highly organised, motivated and results orientated – Ability to achieve full potential from projects – Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious – Progressive work approach and a team player JBRP1_UKTJ
