Caspian One is partnering with a leading capital markets organisation on a large scale platform engineering programme and is looking to build out a number of experienced DevOps engineers to support delivery. This opportunity sits within a complex, highly regulated environment, focused on improving engineering practices, strengthening CI/CD capability, and evolving cloud infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support consistent, reliable delivery
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC principles
- Support the development and deployment of cloud‑native services within Azure
- Improve release management processes and deployment standards
- Work closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to ensure resilience and compliance
- Contribute to monitoring, observability, and incident response improvements
Key Experience Required
- Strong hands‑on experience with Public cloud (GCP/Azure preferred)
- Proven background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and version control (Git)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell, or Go)
- Exposure to monitoring/logging platforms (e.g. Splunk or similar)
- Understanding of secure engineering practices in regulated environments
Additional Context
- Experience within capital markets or financial services is highly desirable
- Comfortable working as part of a wider delivery team across multiple workstreams
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a collaborative environment
