They are seeking a Programme Manager to lead the governance and execution of this strategic initiative. This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders, requiring strong delivery leadership across multiple workstreams and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end delivery and governance of a complex technology programme spanning multiple teams and initiatives.
- Establish and run a robust governance framework, including steering committees, reporting structures, and risk controls.
- Act as the primary interface to senior executives and Board-level stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment across engineering, product, and business teams.
- Drive programme planning, prioritisation, and execution against strategic objectives.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and issues across parallel workstreams.
- Introduce best practices for programme delivery, reporting, and oversight.
- Balance strategic platform evolution with ongoing business delivery.
- Provide clear visibility on progress, risks, and outcomes at an executive level.
The programme is focused on delivering a next-generation front-end platform, built on:
- Composable UI architecture (React, reusable components, widgets).
- Interop framework with FDC3 integration.
- Cross-platform delivery (web and mobile).
This is a large-scale transformation with multiple delivery teams, a significant backlog and evolving priorities, and a need to standardise and scale technology across the organisation.
What They’re Looking For- Proven experience as a Programme Manager delivering large-scale strategic technology initiatives.
- Track record of operating in complex, multi-team environments.
- Strong experience building and running governance frameworks across programmes.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Board-level.
- Demonstrated success managing risk, dependencies, and delivery complexity.
- Strong understanding of technology delivery (Agile / hybrid environments).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within financial services / investment management / front-office technology.
- Knowledge of risk attribution or investment analytics platforms.
- Exposure to UI/platform transformation programmes or enterprise architecture change initiatives.
