A leading global financial institution is seeking a Murex Support Analyst to join its London trading floor team, providing front-to-back support across FX, FX Options, and Commodities. This is a key role within a high-performing, front-office-aligned production support function, with direct exposure to traders and a critical contribution to business continuity and platform stability.
The successful candidate will join a small, agile team responsible for both functional and technical aspects of application support, working across two instances of Murex (v2.11 and v3.1). This includes incident resolution, root cause analysis, server-side troubleshooting, and engagement with global teams on system enhancements and migrations—including the move toward Murex Cloud (MX.3 SaaS).
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Level 2/3 application support for Murex environments (FX, FX Options, Commodities)
- Investigate and resolve technical, functional, and infrastructure-related issues
- Support the full trade lifecycle, including pricing, PnL, and risk modules
- Collaborate directly with front-office traders and business stakeholders
- Perform application restarts, log analysis, and server-level diagnostics
- Participate in weekend and on-call support (ad hoc, with future move to rota)
- Contribute to automation and tooling improvements
- Must have front-office exposure, proven experience interacting with Traders.
- Proven experience supporting Murex (v2.11 and/or v3.1) in a production environment
- Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix and SQL
- Understanding of FX and Commodities trade lifecycles
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Grafana, ITRS)
- Scripting skills in Python or Shell
- Location: London – onsite required initially; hybrid available post onboarding
- Working Hours: Shift-based (7am–3pm / 9am–5pm)
- Compensation: £100,000–£110,000 base + annual bonus
- Permanent, full-time position
