Location: Wolverhampton (WV10)
Hours: 40-48 hours per week
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled butcher to join our small, welcoming team. You\’ll work across the counter and the prep area to ensure high-quality products and great service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Break down pork carcasses to shop specifications
- Portion and prepare meats accurately and efficiently
- Produce sausages to consistent quality standards
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness throughout the workspace.
- Follow stock rotation and labelling practices.
- Provide helpful, polite service to customers.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience cutting pork carcasses
- Confident with meat portioning and sausage production.
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices.
- Reliable, punctual and a team player.
(Food Hygiene/Safety certificates are a plus.)
