We are looking for a Kitchen Porter/Driver to support our kitchen team. This role combines standard kitchen porter duties with the responsibility of driving a truck to move waste and rubbish between designated areas within the hotel premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform kitchen cleaning duties, including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and general maintenance of cleanliness.
- Safely drive the hotel truck to transport waste and rubbish to disposal areas.
- Ensure waste is managed according to hotel protocols and health & safety standards.
- Assist in unloading deliveries and organizing kitchen supplies as required.
- Support the kitchen team with various tasks during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with experience driving trucks or similar vehicles.
- Previous experience as a kitchen porter or in a similar cleaning role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
