About the role
Entain is seeking a Sportsbook Operations Manager to join its Sportsbook & Gaming team in Gibraltar.
This hybrid role will act as a strategic operational lead across the UK sportsbook business, focusing on optimizing promotions, bonus investments, and customer incentives to maximize customer engagement and commercial performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with Proposition, CRM, BI, Data, and Fulfilment teams to drive operational excellence and data‑led sportsbook decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an operational lead for the UK Sportsbook business
- Ensure sportsbook initiatives align with strategic and commercial objectives
- Oversee execution of promotions, bonuses, and incentives to maximize effectiveness
- Collaborate with Proposition Managers and Commercial teams to ensure customer‑focused sportsbook promotions
- Develop strong understanding of customer behaviour, sportsbook trends, and brand positioning
- Monitor and analyze sportsbook bonus spend efficiency
- Identify opportunities to optimize promotional investment and customer outcomes
- Work with Proposition teams to test and implement strategies influencing customer behaviour
- Support bonus budget management, phasing, and operational efficiency
- Partner with Data teams to generate insights influencing sportsbook strategy and bonus investment decisions
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and deep dives into sportsbook performance and customer engagement trends
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities using performance data and analytics
- Provide proactive recommendations to stakeholders based on data findings
- Collaborate closely with Proposition Managers, CRM, and Fulfilment teams to improve systems and workflows
- Support the Head of Sportsbook Operations with embedding operational best practices
- Ensure smooth execution of sportsbook campaigns and promotional activities
- Improve campaign planning and operational processes across teams
- Identify and implement operational improvements across sportsbook functions
- Challenge existing processes and introduce new efficiencies
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to support best‑in‑class promotional strategies
