We are a leading, global player in the design, manufacture, and sale of cash management products and solutions. With our market-leading Cashmaster One money counting range, we already hold many existing customer relationships with leading brands in the retail, convenience store, grocery, fast food, and hospitality sectors in the UK and Europe. Recently, we have added a couple of new products to our range which we’d now like to promote to these existing customers alongside targeting new prospects.

To help us grow our existing market share in the UK and Europe, we’d like to recruit a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic Sales Manager, ideally with hands-on experience in selling technology-based products in a B2B environment.

Key attributes for success:

  • This position requires strong research, prospecting, and lead generation, ‘hunting’ skills and offers management of the full sales cycle from that first cold call right through to conversion.
  • It is a hybrid role (part home/part office-based working) when not visiting new prospects which will entail regular travel as required within the UK and Europe.

We want to talk to you if you are:

  • A do-er: you dive straight in and are willing to manage the full sales cycle. Identify, pursue, engage, and convert new customers to using Cashmaster solutions and products.
  • A hunter: you can demonstrate enthusiasm and initiative to build a strong pipeline of new opportunities, targeting c-suite decision makers as necessary.
  • People-centric: You find it easy to engage with key decision-makers and are great at building relationships.
  • A self-starter and a problem solver: you value autonomy and work well remotely. You learn with every challenge; you are looking for solutions rather than describing the problems.
  • Target driven and ambitious: you are eager to reach goals and want to be a best-in-class professional.

Upon joining our team, you will undergo a rigorous onboarding program that includes relevant sales and product training, following which you will use your proven research, prospecting and lead generation skills and experience which will result in the following outcomes within 2-3 months:

  • Conducted dozens of conversations and both in-person/virtual meetings with decision makers within targeted companies.
  • Instigated and begun trials of Cashmaster products.
  • Built a strong pipeline of new prospects. Strong expectation of future sales revenues.

Experience and education:

  • Demonstrated experience in lead generation or regional sales development ‘hunter’ role, ideally involving the sale of B2B products and/or technical solutions or software.
  • Hands-on B2B sales team member with consistent over-quota delivery.
  • Once trained, an ability to evaluate (and sell) future process improvements and projected ROI arising, as part of a solution-based sales approach.
  • Strong technical and IT/B2B products fluency.
  • Previous experience of prospecting, demand generation and/or Inside Sales with proven success in developing and closing new business, or previous experience in outside sales and maintaining and upselling current clients with proven success in achieving quota.
  • Ability to manage multiple enquiries at any one time.
  • Capable of developing strong client relationships and being credible with senior-level executives across the enterprise.
  • Consultative-based enterprise-wide selling experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in other languages such as French, Spanish, and/or German (spoken/written) would be desirable.
  • Professional business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with CRM’s on a daily basis as a sales tracking tool.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, tech, software, or related field (desirable but not essential).
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to “think out of the box” and “quick on your feet”.
  • Track record of building successful relationships.
  • Responsive with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Reliable with an ability to flourish with minimal guidance and be proactive.

What we offer in return:

  • Attractive base level salary.
  • Uncapped remuneration including commission.
