Job Function
The primary function of the CSR is to provide customers with a high level of satisfaction through the excellent provision of all Cash Shop services whilst determining their individual needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a high level of Customer Service to in-store customers and over the telephone/online enquiries.
- Completing transactions against all of our core products quickly & efficiently, whilst following necessary company policies & procedures.
- The testing and evaluating of items of consumer electronics and precious metals.
- Create relationships with customers to ensure that existing custom is retained and new custom gained.
- Complete stock control and organisational tasks.
- Open and close the store adhering to company policy & procedure.
- Reconcile your till, without variance, upon completion of your shift.
Skills
- Fluent English speaker (additional language could be an advantage).
- A very good understanding of basic mathematics & mental arithmetic.
- Excellent sales ability and communication skills.
- Educated to GCSE level standard or equivalent
- Non-essential, but previous pawnbroking, customer service and cash handling experience would be advantageous.
Personality
- Friendly and engaging demeanour.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Proactive ‘can do’ approach to all aspects of your work.
