Your local British Red Cross shop in Woodbridge offers a variety of activities for volunteers. From sorting stock and preparing donated items for sale to providing great customer service to our donors and customers, we have something that suits most people’s interests. This role is a great place to learn new skills and share existing ones. We are currently looking for Till and Customer Service volunteers to help us in our shop. If you have a positive outlook, enjoy speaking to new people and are confident in learning how to use a shop till, then this may be for you.
Responsibilities
- Using the shop till to take payment for items
- Promoting Gift Aid to maximise our fundraising potential
- Helping and advising customers
- Undertaking general activities in the shop
- Creating exciting window displays
- Sorting donations for selling in the shop
- Helping customers on the shop floor
Qualifications
- No previous experience needed.
- A warm smile and a friendly outlook.
- Completing the training (provided) prior to starting.

Volunteer Details
No minimum commitment or fixed hours. You can volunteer a few hours during the week or on weekends as agreed with the shop manager. We only ask that you agree on hours you are confident you can attend and let us know if these hours may change.
