Community Education delivers free educational workshops to groups of young people and adults across the UK to help increase community resilience.
Volunteer Commitment
- Volunteer on a regular basis, contributing a minimum of 8 hours per month.
- Flexible availability; workshops are 60-90 minutes plus travel time Monday‑Friday, usually between 9 am and 5 pm, with occasional evenings or weekends.
- Commit to volunteer for at least 12 months.
- Willing to undertake all required training for the role.
- Have own IT equipment and access to own transport with a full driving licence held for at least 2 years.
- Independent travel to workshop venues in your community.
- Comfortable delivering workshops after successful training and support.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate face‑to‑face or online workshops to groups of young people or adults on a range of humanitarian topics to strengthen your community.
- Help promote our work within your community so more people may benefit from our education offer.

- Responsible, organised, reliable, and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Reasonable level of IT literacy, and access to suitable IT equipment and internet connection (you may choose either face‑to‑face or digital workshops).
