Our local British Red Cross shop is looking for Van Assistant volunteers. Volunteers help the driver load and transport donated items to and from customers, support other shops and keep the van and warehouse tidy.
Typical activities include:
- Supporting drivers to deliver and collect items across the local area.
- Moving stock to other shops.
- Helping load and unload items for delivery (including bulky items) in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Keeping the van and warehouse well organised and tidy.
No experience is needed – full training will be provided. Minimum age 18.
When you can volunteer:
