Shop Volunteer (Till & Customer Service - Newcastle, Nun Street)
Our local British Red Cross shop has a variety of activities available for volunteers, from sorting stock and preparing donated items for sale to providing great customer service to donors and customers.
This role offers a chance to learn new skills and share existing ones.
- Typical activities
- Using the shop till to take payment for items
- Promoting Gift Aid to maximise our fundraising potential
- Helping and advising customers
- Undertaking general activities in the shop
When can I volunteer?
A few hours during the week or weekend, as agreed with the shop manager.
There is no minimum commitment or fixed hours; we only ask that you agree on hours you can attend and let us know if those hours change.
Requirements / Skills
- No previous experience is needed
