You’ll make our wheelchairs clean and safe for people to get moving again after illness or injury.
Ideally you will live within 10 miles of the British Red Cross office Sheffield (S9 4LR).
We would like you to
- Be available to volunteer on a regular basis.
- Minimum 1 day per week between 9am and 3pm (possibly some flexibility in the hours and working day).
- Be able to commit to volunteering for a minimum of 12 months.

We need volunteers to clean and maintain our equipment.
We believe that everyone who needs a wheelchair should get one and each year we hire out or loan over 75,000 wheelchairs to help people to get around after an injury or illness.
You will be joining a friendly team and will have the satisfaction of ensuring that a clean, safe piece of equipment is ready for the next person.
