Your local British Red Cross shop offers a range of volunteer activities, including sorting stock, preparing donated items for sale, and providing excellent customer service. This role provides an opportunity to learn new skills or share your existing ones.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the shop till to accept payments for items
  • Promote Gift Aid to maximise fundraising potential
  • Help and advise customers on the shop floor
  • Perform general shop duties such as stocking and display

Training & Experience

No prior experience is required; full training will be provided.

Availability

You can volunteer a few hours during the week or weekend as agreed with the shop manager. There is no minimum commitment and you may arrange your hours to suit your schedule.
