Your local British Red Cross shop offers a range of volunteer activities. We are currently looking for volunteers to support us with everyday shop operations, including using the shop till, promoting Gift Aid, helping customers and carrying out general duties so that we can continue to serve our donors and community.
- Use the shop till to accept payments and process sales.
- Promote and secure Gift Aid where applicable.
- Assist and advise customers on product selection and shop operations.
- Perform general shop tasks such as arranging displays, restocking and maintaining a clean environment.
No prior experience is required; full training will be provided.
Commitment: A few hours during the week or weekend, as agreed with the shop manager. There is no minimum or fixed-hour requirement – we simply ask that you let us know if your availability changes.
Qualifications: Positive outlook, friendly demeanor, willingness to learn and confidence using a shop till.
