Van Assistant Volunteer
Our shop delivers and collects within the local area. Volunteers help the driver to safely load and transport items to and from customers.
Responsibilities- Supporting drivers by delivering and collecting items across the local area.
- Moving stock to other shops.
- Helping load and unload items for delivery (including bulky items) in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Keeping the van and warehouse well organised and tidy.
- No experience needed; full training will be provided.
- Minimum age 18.
- No expectation to use a till or computer.
A few hours during the week or weekend as agreed with the shop manager. There is no minimum commitment or fixed hours; we only ask that you agree on hours you can attend and inform us of any changes.
