Our local British Red Cross Shop relies on volunteers to keep operations running. We are looking for General Assistant volunteers to support the shop in a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Check the quality of donated items and prepare them for sale or recycling.
- Iron, clean, label, and price items ready for sale.
- Keep the shop well organized and tidy.
- Display items for sale.
- Engage in general shop activities as required.
Commitment
Fewer than a few hours per week (no fixed minimum). Work hours can be agreed with the shop manager to fit your availability.
Qualifications & Experience
No experience is required; full training will be provided. No till or computer usage is expected in this role.
Eligibility
Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Note: this opening does not accept applications from 15–17 year olds.
