Your local British Red Cross shop has a variety of activities available for volunteers to support. Our shops rely on volunteers to keep them running successfully.
Responsibilities
- Check the quality of donated items and prepare them for sale or recycling.
- Iron, clean, label and price items ready for sale.
- Display items for sale and keep the shop well organised and tidy.
- Create exciting window displays.
- Sort donations for selling in the shop.
- Meet new people and provide great customer service.
- Perform general activities around the shop.
Qualifications
- No previous experience is needed.
- A warm smile and a friendly outlook are appreciated.
- Full training will be provided and there is no expectation to use a till or computer.
Volunteer Commitment
