Cash Access UK’s mission is to sustain communities by supporting the millions of people and small businesses who depend on cash every day. This shared purpose brings our colleagues together and guides the work we do. Every role contributes to delivering the best possible outcomes for the communities we serve. At the heart of our organisation are our values and mindsets, which shape our culture. We’re committed to enabling a collaborative, inclusive, and purpose-driven environment where everyone belongs and is trusted to make a difference.

At Cash Access UK, we know the powerful impact that leaders have on their teams. This is why every colleague, especially those in leadership roles, is expected to live our mindsets at work. Leadership is a privilege but it can be hard. There will be tough moments, difficult decisions, and conversations that don’t come with a script. Our leaders welcome that challenge. They show up with an open mindset, ready to lead through uncertainty, support their teams, and have the challenging conversations that help people grow. This open, supportive approach will create safe, high-performing environments where people feel respected, trusted, and part of something bigger.

Purpose

  • ‘Our work is more important than our collective success, people out there rely on us every day’
  • Ambiguity and the unknown – ‘The known is definitive, comfortable but boring. We embrace the unknown where opportunity and excitement exist.
  • Failure – ‘Sometimes we will fail, but we will do it well’
  • Inclusion – ‘We are curious; we care enough to ask then listen first without judgement’.
  • Growth and development – ‘A commitment to develop and grow is the greatest contribution you can make to the team. Own it.’
  • Diversity – ‘We are all the same in that we are all unique. We celebrate our differences however they present themselves.’
  • Culture – ‘The culture you are creating today is your legacy to those that come after you.’

The VMO Leader’s mission is to add value by creating transparency, supporting/driving information flow and facilitating decision making across our change community and ecosystem. You’ll do this in an environment where we acknowledge that priorities can change, you’ll lead rather than control and you’ll focus on the sustainable flow of value and outcomes.

The Enterprise VMO Leader’s role will be at the centre of establishing and building a new Value Management Office (VMO). Building this capability is not just about delivering change projects. This will be a new Change operating model. The focus will be on identifying and nurturing the flow of change outcomes and flexibility that add value to Cash Access and to its customers and builds talent, capability and innovation.
