The role holder will work within a small team accountable for the procurement and management of suppliers within the company.
They will coordinate with stakeholders across the supply chain including the Counter Service Provider, Facilities Manager, and Participating Firms (Banks and Building Societies) to ensure the Banking Hubs and other customer solutions are operating as required on a day-to-day basis.
Accountabilities
- Support the Contract Manager in the delivery of the contract / supplier management framework to ensure the effective and controlled operation of the company and live solutions.
- Lead on the procurement and negotiation of lower tier contracts and location partner agreements.
- Support the Contract Manager in the procurement of new suppliers.
- Onboard new suppliers in-line with the procurement policy.
- Complete KYS and AML due diligence checks on new suppliers and monitor compliance of established suppliers
- Support Risk and Control Self-Assessment through control testing.
- Strong collaboration with and management of supply chain to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Coordinate supplier governance forums and associated administration.
- Support the review of supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive actions to enhance customer service.
- Support the Contract Manager with the management of the solutions budget, including: reviewing and validating supplier invoices and collaborating with third party suppliers to drive cost efficiencies.
- Document, manage and mitigate risks associated with the operation.
Capabilities/skills
- Experience and knowledge of contract / supplier management discipline essential.
- Experience and knowledge of procurement practices with regards to third parties / outsourced operations.
- Experience in working in an operational environment desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
