Who are we looking for? We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in complex refurbishment projects, including high‑rise, retrofit, and listed buildings for this newly created position within our Building Refurbishment division. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll have a detailed understanding of Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and PAS 2035/2038 standards, ensuring that every stage of design and delivery is compliant, safe, and of the highest quality. With excellent attention to detail, you’ll be confident in interpreting complex legislation, contracts, and technical documentation. Your proactive approach will help you identify risks early, implement effective solutions, and establish robust processes that support successful project outcomes. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities will be essential.

You will also play a pivotal role in coordinating architects, engineers, and specialist consultants to ensure refurbishment designs meet current legislation, contractual requirements, and client expectations. By leading reviews, approvals, and compliance checks, you’ll help ensure that projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining design integrity and regulatory assurance. Collaboration and communication will be key to your success in this role. You’ll be a trusted advisor to project teams, offering clear guidance, mentoring colleagues, and sharing lessons learned to drive continuous improvement across the business.
