As a part of our current expansion and transformation plans, we are seeking a full-time Solutions Author for our Assurance engagement products. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to not only enhance their knowledge in a key business area but become an integral part of the team building software solutions for the global market.

We are looking for someone who wants to use their practical audit and accounting knowledge, and their love of technology to help enhance our suite of leading-edge products. The Solutions Author will have a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring deep product knowledge, want to participate in the development of best-of-breed products, can apply knowledge of accounting & auditing standards in a practical environment, and is excited about working in a fast-paced software development cycle.

What you will do:

  • Perform content implementation in new products and enhancements in existing products using platform features available, while being adaptive to changing requirements.
  • Balance the creation of efficiencies in solutions by adding logic to drive automation, while implementing content to ensure compliance with the relevant standards.
  • Perform quality assurance of new and existing products, to meet deliverables and timelines commitments.
  • Properly document design changes for both internal use and client use in technical bulletins and training materials including videos.
  • Build a strong understanding of the Caseware products and solutions involved in, the product strategy, roadmap, and current release, as well as of the broader Caseware ecosystem.
  • Work closely with clients through online support to identify causes for reported issues, and determine the best solutions. Periodic rotation through client support is to be expected.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of communication with Product Lead and stakeholders on development progress, scope, and roadblocks.
  • Work collaboratively across squads and teams to get dependent features delivered and are available to the squad and answer questions quickly for the team.
  • Be the champion and voice of customers.
  • Bring the customer's voice into the product creation process.
  • Drive for the best customer experience possible.

  • Has prior work experience in an Audit and Accounting practice, with a strong interest in technology.
  • Takes ownership of the work and is accountable for executing in a timely manner.
  • Is able to effectively work independently and without daily supervision.

  • Understand customer/user needs of the content within the product to make recommendations on content-based features/functionality.
  • Experience liaising with clients and prioritizing/accessing requests.
