Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage and be responsible for the Workshop and Engineering Department including a team of HGV Technicians, Engineers, a Service Coordinator and Administrator.
  • Oversea the maintenance of our fleet of HGV, Plant Equipment and Material Handling Equipment.
  • Meet agreed KPI’s, implement positive change, manage weak and strong performance.
  • Complete risk assessments and maintain health and safety standards.
  • Ensure the smooth running of PPM’s and reactive maintenance within the plant.
  • Ensure targeted MOT pass rates are achieved.
  • Essential Skills

  • Previous experience of running a busy HGV fleet workshop.
  • Excellent Organisationsal Skills and Attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast moving maintenance environment.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook and other computer based programs.
  • Qualification is HGV maintenance.
  • Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
