The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be managing a team of HGV Technicians, Maintenance Engineers and Service Staff. This role oversees our fleet of lorries which includes Roll on Roll off, Artic and Rigid vehicles. You will also be overseeing the maintenance of Fixed Plant and Mobile Plant equipment. The hours of work are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and be responsible for the Workshop and Engineering Department including a team of HGV Technicians, Engineers, a Service Coordinator and Administrator
- Oversee the maintenance of our fleet of HGV, Plant Equipment and Material Handling Equipment
- Meet agreed KPI’s, implement positive change, manage weak and strong performance
- Complete risk assessments and maintain health and safety standards
- Ensure the smooth running of PPM’s and reactive maintenance within the plant
- Ensure targeted MOT pass rates are achieved
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Previous experience of running a busy HGV fleet workshop
- Excellent Organisational Skills and Attention to detail
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving maintenance environment
- Good knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook and other computer based programs
- Qualification in HGV maintenance
