About the role
A passionate Sales Manager who demonstrates strong commercial acumen, loves leading a team to success and has a desire to develop the events to be the beating heart of the Education & Healthcare industries. This role allows you to take ownership of the events you work on by having the freedom to autonomously drive its strategic growth and direction, whilst delivering on all commercial elements.
As Sales Manager, you will be immersed in the world of Education & Healthcare enabling you to become a trusted authority in the industry, creating valuable connections along the way.
You will be tenacious, driven, solution finding self-starter, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is ambitious and hungry for success.
You will be both analytical and creative, in addition to having the ability to successfully deliver against multiple projects throughout the year – efficiently and effectively following a plan to meeting targets and ensure a great customer experience.
The role is 80% telephone based and you will be expected to achieve a minimum of 70 minutes outbound client calls with a high focus on new business generation. When you are not selling space and sponsorship over the phone you will be out in the field, canvassing new business at competitor events and of course being onsite for the duration of the events you work on.
