Marketing Manager
London (Hybrid Working)

The company:
This international events portfolio is experiencing significant growth sooner than they anticipated and are in need of a strategic and motivated event marketing manager to come on board to help lead the way to further commercial success.
Based in London but with events on a global scale, this role would suit someone with at least 4 years’ event marketing experience in either exhibitions or conferences, either already at Marketing Manager level or someone clearly ready to take the step up.
The role:
This is a key role within the business, as the Marketing Manager influences beyond the marketing of their own events, to the rest of the marketing team and the wider project team. You will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic marketing plan for events by boosting the commercial opportunity, employing the full marketing mix, and working in conjunction with internal teams.
- Strategic marketing for events and portfolios, and affiliate marketing via sponsors, speakers, and partners
- Conceiving and delivering the marketing activities outlined in the strategic plan
- Topic and audience research
- Generate qualified leads
- Social media strategy and management
- Campaign Analysis
- Budgeting
- Portfolio and/or event branding, future planning of the portfolio and/or event
The Successful Candidate:
- You will have proven experience in creating and leading multi-channel event marketing campaigns.
- Will work closely with internal teams
- Ability to spot potential problems or challenges as they arise and be prepared with solutions
- Understand the mission and values of the organisation and department and act in accordance with and actively promote these
- You have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines as standard.
