An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales leader to join a globally recognised events organisation, delivering high-quality, insight-led conferences within the financial services sector. This role offers the chance to combine strategic leadership with hands-on commercial responsibility, within a high-performing and collaborative environment.
The Role
- You will take ownership of a well-established and successful event portfolio, leading a team while maintaining personal revenue responsibility.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 (with scope for growth).
- Manage a portfolio of 3–5 events annually across Europe and the US.
- Operate in a player-manager capacity (approximately 60% leadership / 40% personal sales).
- Oversee both established flagship events and new product launches.
- This role requires a leader who can drive performance, set standards, and contribute commercially.
The Market
- Financial services (middle & back office / capital markets focus).
- Large-scale, high-value conferences (up to ~900 attendees).
- Diverse stakeholder engagement across delegates, sponsors, and solution providers.
