The Company and Role:

We have a great opportunity within a medical technology company, for a highly motivated and fully qualified European Patent Attorney with a background in an Engineering discipline – biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or related.

Key Tasks:

  • Drafting and prosecution of patent applications.
  • Perform prior art investigations and patentability assessments.
  • Provide infringement and validity advice.
  • Provide support to opposition and litigation proceedings.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 2-3 years post-qualification experience as a European Patent Attorney preferably in Med-Tech, healthcare or a related industry, acquired in an IP law firm or in-house IP department.
  • Demonstrate strong research and communication skills.
  • To be highly motivated, with the drive and ambition to progress your career.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour.
