An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales leader to join a globally recognised events organisation, delivering high-quality, insight-led conferences within the financial services sector. This role offers the chance to combine strategic leadership with hands-on commercial responsibility within a high-performing and collaborative environment.

The Role

  • You will take ownership of a well-established and successful event portfolio, leading a team while maintaining personal revenue responsibility.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 (with scope for growth).
  • Manage a portfolio of 3–5 events annually across Europe and the US.
  • Operate in a player-manager capacity (approximately 60% leadership / 40% personal sales).
  • Oversee both established flagship events and new product launches.
  • This role requires a leader who can drive performance, set standards, and contribute commercially.

The Market

  • Financial services (middle & back office / capital markets focus).
  • Large-scale, high-value conferences (up to ~900 attendees).
  • Diverse stakeholder engagement across delegates, sponsors, and solution providers.
