A well-established international events organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Operations to lead the delivery of a portfolio of large-scale, professionally focused B2B events. These are complex, content-led gatherings delivered across multiple locations, combining senior audiences, structured programmes, and commercial stakeholders.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with full accountability for operational planning, on-site execution, and team performance. You will be responsible for ensuring events are delivered consistently, efficiently, and to a high standard, while embedding strong operational discipline and continuous improvement across the function.
The Role
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of operational leads and coordinators, creating clarity around responsibilities, standards, and outcomes.
- Own the operational lifecycle across multiple live event programmes running in parallel, from planning through to delivery and review.
- Take responsibility for operational budgets, cost control, and financial performance, balancing quality with commercial outcomes.

- Work closely with senior colleagues across commercial, finance, and delivery functions to support wider business objectives.
