The University of London is seeking an experienced fundraiser to join the team as a Senior Philanthropic Partnerships Manager to secure major philanthropic income and help drive our organisational fundraising priorities, including our flagship Senate House Library campaign.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and strategic fundraiser with a track record of winning significant support (six and seven figure gifts) from charitable trusts, foundations, corporates, and other organisational partners. In this role, you will lead the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of a portfolio of organisational donors, working closely with senior stakeholders. You will create compelling proposals, cases for support and other high-quality fundraising materials. As a key member of the Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement Office, you will provide guidance, direction and professional support to the Philanthropy Manager and Philanthropy Officer, represent the Deputy Director of Philanthropy across internal networks and strengthen collaboration across the University.
You will bring:
- A strong track record of securing significant philanthropic income from trusts, foundations and corporate partners.
- Confidence working with senior colleagues and insight into the wider higher education and political landscape.
- Proven ability to turn ideas into persuasive, tailored fundraising proposals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Discretion, initiative and the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, most employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however, will need to attend the office on specific days for training or team meetings etc.
