The Alumni and Supporter Relations team is responsible for nurturing UCL’s most significant alumni and supporter relationships across London, the UK and around the world. As Senior Alumni and Supporter Relations Manager (Faculties), you will play a key role in delivering a gold-standard alumni experience and strengthening engagement between UCL’s academic faculties and their alumni communities. You will help shape and deliver an ambitious alumni engagement programme that deepens alumni affinity, supports UCL’s fundraising ambitions and contributes to the success of Here, it will happen.
You will lead a team of alumni engagement professionals aligned to specific faculties, providing strategic guidance, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring the delivery of impactful communications, events and volunteering opportunities. You will also manage relationships with key alumni and supporters, helping to build meaningful connections that support UCL’s mission and long-term goals.
You will have experience of working in alumni relations or a related engagement-focused environment, with a proven ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior and influential individuals. You will bring significant experience of delivering engagement activities, events and communications programmes, alongside excellent organisational, project management and relationship management skills. You will be an inspiring communicator with strong influencing abilities and the confidence to work collaboratively across complex organisations.
Experience of managing relationships with supporters, donors or other influential communities is essential, while knowledge of fundraising and philanthropy would be advantageous. You will also be able to motivate and develop others, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
