Clare College is seeking a focused, collaborative, and self-motivated professional. The Associate Director, Principal Gifts will be responsible for generating six-and seven-figure gifts from alumni, well-wishers, trusts and foundations by qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of principal and major donors.
At the higher end of the salary scale, this is designed for a seasoned fundraising professional who has a track record of soliciting and closing seven-figure gifts. Success in this role will be transformational, not only for the College but also for the post holder’s own career.

Salary and Benefits
£60,000-£70,000 with possible additional scope for an exceptional candidate. The salary increases annually with the cost of living and will be subject to periodic review, benchmarked against equivalent roles in other Cambridge Colleges. The post holder will be eligible for a bonus every year and free lunch in College on working days. We also offer membership of a defined pension contribution scheme, a Healthcare cash plan and free parking.
