I respond well to support workers who are fun, engaging and able to build a trusting relationship while maintaining a calm and supportive approachI require support with all personal care, communication and mobility. I am a wheelchair user. My support team will work with me both at home and helping me engage in therapy appointments and social community-based activities.
In addition, I would you to also support me to access my hydrotherapy pool.People say I have a bubbly personality, and I enjoy positive interactions with those around me. I also enjoy trips out to the local beaches as well as visiting cafes and shopping, having fun watching people dancing and people watching in general!A good sense of humour and a warm, encouraging manner will be important in helping me feel comfortable and confident. It is equally important that you can recognise when I need time and space to myself.
