Our client is a friendly and engaging gentleman with a good sense of humour, who sustained a brain injury 20 years ago. He lives at home with his long‑term partner, along with their two dogs and cat, and enjoys interests such as cars, science, and gaming. We are seeking a warm, patient, and reliable individual who can take a ‘professional buddy’ approach; building a positive relationship while motivating and encouraging the client to achieve his goals. The successful candidate will be proactive and flexible, supporting him to engage in meaningful activities, develop independence, and access opportunities that enhance his overall quality of life. A full induction and training will be provided. This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
- Be able to drive and have use of a car.
- Drive the family vehicle.
- Have experience of supporting a person with a brain injury.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Be willing to register with Social Care Wales.
