  • Salary: Production Lead Hand $23.25/hr base + $1.50 Lead Hand premium + $1.00 shift premium
  • Schedule: Midnight shift (10pm-6am)

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Scarborough, as the Lead Hand:

  • Ensure a safe work environment and promote compliance with all health and safety standards
  • Supervise and support employees in producing high-quality finished products efficiently
  • Plan, assign, and coordinate work based on production schedules
  • Monitor production output and quality standards, making adjustments as needed
  • Maintain compliance with BRCGS procedures, including equipment, processes, and documentation
  • Submit detailed daily reports at the end of each shift
  • Build strong employee relations by modeling professionalism, accountability, and teamwork
  • Identify and escalate production or employee concerns in a timely manner
  • Participate in and support Joint Health & Safety Committee initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager

  • Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with employees and management
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the corrugated industry (machine operation experience is an asset)
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive engagement and gain buy-in for continuous improvement initiatives
